One of my favorite ways to kill a lazy day is to take a trip to the Denver Zoo.
Not quite the same as traveling to some exotic foreign landscape and photographing critters in the wild, but hey, it is a lot less expensive and a great place to take the kids and grandkids. It's also a great place to test camera equipment and technique.
