A Winter Escape - Florida Everglades
Colorado Winters run long and by February, I'm always ready to find a warmer place. This year, we took a short trip to the Gulf Coast of South Western Florida and used that opportunity to explore the Florida Everglades. If you are interested in wildlife photography, the Florida Everglades would be ground zero for anyone with a camera. I've created a photo album of our trip and you can see it here.
Explore your local parks and lakes...
It's the dead of winter and there's nothing to do. WRONG. Take that camera out to the local park lake and bring along the wife & kids for that matter. You'll find an occasional warm day and you'll also find the local lakes are teaming with wildlife. Join me on one of my recent outings to photograph the local water fowl. You can see the feature "Exploring Urban Wildlife" here.
Quick review of Datacolor Spyder4 Express.
If you are interested in keeping the color on your monitor in calibration, the Datacolor Spyder4 Express is one of your options. I've recently used the product and you can read my thoughts here.
New for 2012 - Checklist for Colorado Photography
I'm adding a new listing to the web site. Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
I'll be listing some of the major events involving Airshows, Balloon Festivals, Train & Railroad and Automobile events for 2012. I'll be updating this list throughout the year so check back often. I plan on attending some of these events and will be organizing groups throughout the year. You can find it here.
