Call For Writers/Photographer Contributors

I am going to be expanding the scope of this web site and I am looking for people who consider themselves good writers and good photographers. I travel a great deal but there are many aspects of travel photography I simply can't cover by myself and with my own experience. So, with that in mind, I'm asking for people who would like to have their travel photography stories featured on this web site. It would be voluntary as have no advertisers here thus I have no means to pay you for the publishing, unless at some point down the road it became a profitable magazine. But, what it would be would be experience for you budding writers and a legitimate publishing credit for you. You would maintain full copyright ownership of your writing and photography.

If you would like to be considered, please send me a private e-mail via the "Contact Me" link at the top of the page. Explain who you are, where you are from and what you'd like to contribute and maybe include some low resolution sample photography. Remember, the purpose of this page is to promote the fun and art of travel photography, so I'm mostly interested in your travel stories and photographs. I'll keep an open mind.Articles for the web site would generally be 2000 words or less in legnth, and include up to a dozen or so photographs.

I've been a busy camper this past month. A trip to Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Yellowstone, Wyoming have kept me pretty busy. For those of you unaware, I'm an active professional so unfortunately I have to actually take photographs from time-to-time so I can afford all of these wonderful trips I make.

I'll be sharing a couple of features with you before the summer is over. Chincogeague Island, Virginia and Yellowstone National Park. The photos are there but I still have a upcoming trip to Hawaii to photograph a wedding (life is hard.) When I'm back from Hawaii, I'll get on the web site with the updated features and maybe a few other little things I've been thinking about as well.

In the meantime, have a safe and enjoyable summer. Make sure to check out my facebook page too. I'm finding that I've been updating that just about every day, mostly because I can do it from my cell phone. You can find my facebook page here.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Have-Camera-Will-Travel/114672128590468

Stay Safe.
